About Anaphylaxis
Can kill within minutes. Epinephrine auto-injectors save lives: use an adrenaline auto-injector if available and call your emergency number. Richet won the Nobel Prize for discovering anaphylaxis. Food allergies affect hundreds of millions of people globally. Peanut allergy in children rose sharply from the 1990s. The LEAP trial found that early peanut introduction in high-risk infants reduced peanut allergy.
